Veerle Casteleyn (Jemima)
Veerle Casteleyn - with and without her make up
She is from Belgium, her mother language is Dutch. Her name "Veerle" means feather in Flemish. It's reported that her handwriting is very beautiful.
Her name can be pronouced in this way : "Veer-la Cost-a-lane."
Veerle is trained in Municical Institute for Ballet, Antwerp Belgium. I think she played a very adorable Jemima, I like this role very much due to Veerle's excellence.
She understudied Victoria and Rumpleteazer once. She played Jemima in video.
Veerle was dubbed over in the video by Helen Massie(well, hard to believe it, isn't it? but it's true), this was because her English wasn't very good then. Well, but she sang by her own when she played Rumpleteazer.
Veerle's credits: Joint Venture, Initiate, Fanfare, The three Munkateers, Self Made, Cats, The Sound Of Music, Carousel, and Orphan in Annie (Royal Youth Theatre).
She is now in the UK tour of the musical Carousel.
