Jason Gardiner (Alonzo)

Jason - with and without his make up
¡@
Jason was born in Australia. He stared performing at the age of 20. He played Alonzo in Cats video, he also played Munkustrap, Rum Tum Tugger and Alonzo in the past in the New London Theatre.
He is busy in a choreographic company which is possessed by him and his friend. His choreographic career mostly is in Asia, e.g. Hong Kong. He was trained at National Ballet School and Broadway Dance.
He is a very professional performer. His goal is to become a director and a choreographer. In order to perform a good Alonzo, he read books of cats, watched his cat TJ, observed the big cats at the zoo, and even used cartoons of cats as a resource, see more about him here.
His favorite cats are Old Deuteronomy, Rum Tum Tugger and Jemima. I feel he is really a good performer, and I think he has a good personality (due to this article), he played a very adorable and nice Alonzo indeed.
His credits: Oklahoma, Cats, Dames of Sea, 42nd Street, West Side Story, Kismet, My fair lady, Chicago (see his pictures in Chicago below)
Television: Cats (video), Midday Show, Good morning, Australia, Andrew Denton, Smash Hits, Princes Royal Gala, Brit Awards, picasso.
He is currently performing a musical called Lady Be Good (playing Bertie Bassett).
